I LOVE HOW YOU INDULGE ME, BLESS <3 also i’m aware that no one cares about this meme anymore but i’m doing it anyway because i want to talk about them. 

when of if I started shipping it.

omg but remember that one time mercedes had a moment where she, just for one night, wanted someone to tell her she was beautiful and ask her to dance and then sam evans did exactly that? so yeah, probably prom, but that was kind of just a sweet moment that i honestly didn’t think would go anywhere because fucking glee is the way it is. BUT THEN, oh but then. they held hands in the finale and i actually screamed. and then chord wasn’t coming back and i died inside but then HE DID and their scenes this season have been nothing short of perfection and i’m a goner, as you know. SO, short answer? the road to actually shipping it at the level i do now has been kind of exponential, but i loved it from the first moment. 

my thoughts:

my god i have said it before but watching these kids is like watching some puppies run towards each other in a field of dandelions, they’re so fucking cute. i can’t handle the faces they make at each other and you just know they had the dorkiest, most adorable summer together and UGH, PLEASE SHOW PLEASE JUST LET THEM LOVE EACH OTHER,  GIVE ME THIS ONE THING I WANT. fucking glee. 

What makes me happy about them:

i love that if you actually sit down and do the math and fill in the blanks the show has left for you (lol as it always does, which is why if i see shit about lack of development i’m just gonna laugh in your face because welcome to ryan murphy’s party) they’re actually really really perfect for each other? in a way, that shot of them dancing at the prom is all you need. the scenes speak for themselves but if you wanted to build your headcanon or whatever, it’s pretty easy to do. 

What makes me sad about them:

well obviously i wish they were on a different show.

things done in fanfic that annoys me:

uh. i’m gonna go with the cliches that i’ve seen people on my dash complain about? like, mercedes calling him ‘white boy’ all the time, and the two of them doing nothing but quote avatar at each other or whatever? idk. be more creative, i guess?

it would be cute for them to end senior year together, because that pretty much makes them ~endgame in tv land. although tbh samuel needs to stop proposing to people. YOU ARE A CHILD, STOP.
